Clean Image Car Wash & Detailing in Plainfield, Illinois is currently hiring auto detailers. We are looking for detailers who are meticulous, reliable and committed. Prior experience with an orbital polisher is a plus but not required.

Detailers perform car and truck exterior and interior detailing, and engine detailing using a variety of products and tools. Detailing work to be performed according to the company's guidelines and standards.

• Waxing and buffing
• Polishing
• Removing defects and swirls
• Hand car washing
• Using a clay bar
• Cleaning wheels
• Shampooing and vacuuming seats, carpets and other upholstery inside the car
• Removing grease and stains
• Engine detailing
• Ceramic Coatings
• Multiple Step Corrections

The car wash is open Monday through Saturday from 8:00 AM until 6:00 PM, Sunday 8:00 AM until 4:00 PM. Part-time work hours will be scheduled anytime during operating hours.

• Must be 18 years or older

Give fast, friendly customer service, operate cash register, and process payments. Involves use of electronic scanners, cash registers, or related equipment.

Handle money, customer questions, answer the phone, and be able to understand and explain our services!

• Greet & direct our customers.
• Explain our various wash packages & services to our customers.
• Direct our customers onto the tunnel conveyor.
• Must be observant and able to spot potential problems in customer vehicles.
• Involves use of electronic equipment.
• Greet our customers with a smile, explain our different services, and process customer vehicles.
• Nightly cleaning & up keep

No prior experience necessary, but previous cashier or customer service experience is a plus. Basic computer skills required to operate the point of sale system.

The car wash is open Monday through Saturday from 8:00 AM until 6:00 PM, Sunday 8:00 AM until 4:00 PM. Part-time work hours will be scheduled anytime during operating hours.

• Able to work outdoors in variable weather conditions
• Able to stand for 4 consecutive hours
• Be punctual, responsible and accountable
• General housekeeping and light maintenance responsibilities
• Duties may also include vacuuming, drying, window cleaning, dash and console cleaning and other vehicle cleaning.
• Machinery and equipment cleaning.
• Assists customers and other team members as needed to efficiently process car washes.
